AKCG earned “Best in Show” honors at the 29th annual Pyramid Awards on June 13. Sponsored by the New Jersey chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the annual awards banquet recognizes public relations campaigns submitted by public relations practitioners across New Jersey and the region.
AKCG’s “Best in Show” submission came in the Crisis Communications category for the entry “Misleading Reporting Risks Significant Reputational Harm After Tragedy” in partnership with client The IMPACT Project.
AKCG also received a Pyramid in the Media Relations (Consumer) category for its “Age Is Just a Number for Wesley Enhanced Living Residents” entry, in partnership with Pennsylvania-based Continuing Care Retirement Community operator Wesley Enhanced Living.
Since 1989, the PRSA Pyramid Awards have been a staple in the New Jersey public relations community, recognizing the best-in-class PR campaigns, tactics and professionals. The 2018 Pyramid Awards featured a total of 26 public relations categories, from campaigns such as special events and social media to tactics such as feature stories, op-eds and annual reports.
