AKCG welcomes interns each semester to gain hands-on public relations experience. Our interns work directly to support the AKCG team and our clients in crisis communications and proactive media relations efforts. Take a look at what some of our recent interns had to say about their experience with us.
Alyssa Cosio, The College of New Jersey
What tips would you give to a future intern to be successful in a virtual internship?
Stay organized! During a virtual internship, you must keep track of everything you do and make sure that you are always thinking days ahead. A lack of organization can be the difference between working well and becoming overwhelmed and forgetful.
Jordana Levine, The College of New Jersey
What information/experience did you find most rewarding during your time at AKCG?
I found it most rewarding to be trusted by the team at AKCG and that I have the ability to learn and grow. They trust their interns and their potential which I value.
Lindsay Sasson, Villanova University
What advice would you give to future AKCG interns?
I would encourage future interns to take advantage of the knowledge and experiences held by the PR experts here at AKCG. Use them as a resource from which you can learn and grow! Challenge yourself to be proactive and volunteer to help with tasks outside of your assigned responsibilities.
Antonia Thomas, Penn State University
Describe your internship experience at AKCG.
This summer, my PR experience feels like it has tripled; the AKCG team has given me countless opportunities to showcase my PR talents and expand my knowledge. I am grateful that I work with a team that treats me as more than an intern and trusts me to do important work for their clients.
