AKCG Grows: New Hires and New Responsibilities

by | Jul 18, 2017

The AKCG team is growing. Last month, Thomas Logue joined the firm as an associate, and after three years with the Philadelphia-area public relations firm Senior Associate Darrah Foster, has been promoted to senior account executive. “We are fortunate to have great clients who allow us to do impactful, strategic work on their behalf,” said AKCG president Chris Lukach, APR. “Our team makes me proud on a daily basis.”

Thomas graduated summa cum laude from Rowan University this past spring, where he received dual degrees in public relations and advertising. During his time at Rowan, he served as vice president of Rowan’s Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and earned the University’s Anthony J. Fulginiti Gold Medallion for Excellence in Public Relations.

“It’s a dream,” he said. “I’m absolutely thrilled to work alongside such incredibly talented professionals. I know I can bring a lot to the table and help make a difference for our clients.” While completing his degree, Thomas assisted the firm as an intern. Now, he joins full time.

Over the last three years, AKCG Senior Associate Darrah has grown to help lead the media relations team and assist the firm’s issues and crisis management programs. In 2016, she earned the Philadelphia Public Relations Association Fast-Track Award, and she currently serves on the PPRA Board of Governors.

“I’m honored to take on this new role with AKCG,” said Darrah. “And I’m excited about the many opportunities ahead as we work together to drive results for our clients.”
