The AKCG Team received six awards at the Philadelphia Chapter of PRSA’s 56th Pepperpot Awards on December 5. The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) hosts this annual ceremony to recognize award-winning public relations campaigns and tactics across the Greater Philadelphia area.

In collaboration with its clients, AKCG secured five first-place “Pepperpot” awards and one “Ladle” award recognition. AKCG earned a Pepperpot award in the categories of Reputation/Brand Management for their work with Adelphoi, and Integrated Communications for their work with Atlantic City Electric. AKCG received a Pepperpot award in the category of Annual Reports for their work with The Kendal Corporation. AKCG received a Pepperpot award in the category of Media Relations for their work with St. Anne’s-Belfield School, and a Pepperpot award in the category of Crisis Communications and Issues Management for their work with The National Catholic Risk Retention Group. Additionally, AKCG earned a Ladle award in the category of Editorial/Op-Ed Columns with St. Anne’s-Belfield School.

Furthermore, two members of the AKCG team were recognized with personal achievement awards. Adam Dvorin, Vice President, received the Anthony Fulginiti Award for Commitment to Education. Adam is deeply committed to mentoring and raising the next generation of public relations professionals. Over his 30-year career in communications, Adam has mentored through his agency roles, and as an adjunct faculty member at Temple University. Additionally, Meaghan Airey, associate at AKCG was honored for her work with PRSA Philadelphia’s PR Institute (PRI). During PRI, Meaghan worked alongside a mock agency team to create and pitch a strategic communications plan for a nonprofit client. Meaghan and her teammates were announced as the winning team at the ceremony.
