Hannah Merschen is an account manager for AKCG – Public Relations Counselors, where she supports the proactive media relations team for the firm’s healthcare, education and association clients.

Hannah started her career as a communications manager at a human services nonprofit, overseeing various internal and external marketing efforts. Additionally, before joining AKCG, Hannah worked in higher education, managing a university-wide social media strategy and consulting on advertising strategies to support enrollment and visibility goals.

Hannah currently serves on the Board of Governors as Vice President for Communications for the Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA). She is also an active member of Toastmasters International, where she is a club member at Voorhees Toastmasters Club and volunteers as a Public Relations Manager for Toastmasters District 38.

Hannah graduated from Cairn University with a Master of Science in organizational leadership and a Bachelor of Science in business administration.

In her spare time, Hannah enjoys running, baking, and spending time with her daughter.
