Gwen Quackenboss

Behind every well-timed media strategy is someone tracking what’s actually landing, and that’s where Gwen Quackenboss comes in. As part of AKCG’s media analytics team, she works across the firm’s public relations and crisis practices, supporting senior living, higher education, and independent school clients.

Media Monitoring, Reporting & Analysis

Gwen contributes to the media analytics team with thoughtful media monitoring, reporting, and analysis of client and industry-focused media coverage. Her work helps AKCG’s practice teams understand how client stories are landing, spot emerging coverage trends, and adjust strategy with real data behind it.

Background Across Defense, Pharma, Financial Services & Politics

Prior to joining AKCG, Gwen had a variety of experience supporting internal communications and public affairs in defense, pharmaceuticals, and financial institutions. She was also a communications fellow on a congressional campaign, supporting social media, campaign strategy, and media monitoring, experience that sharpened her eye for how coverage moves and what it means for the people being covered.

Education & Involvement

Gwen graduated cum laude from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts in public relations. She was an active member of the Temple University chapter of PRSSA and served as conference coordinator for two years, overseeing sponsorships and budgeting for the annual conference. At Temple, she pursued an accelerated master’s program, earning her bachelor’s in PR and Master of Public Policy degrees in just four years.

In her free time, Gwen enjoys reading, exploring Philly, and spending time with her friends and family.
