Chris Lukach is CEO of AKCG – Public Relations Counselors. The firm is a national public relations consultancy with deep experience in reputation management strategy, crisis communications, and issues management.

Leading AKCG’s Reputation Management Strategy

Chris has been instrumental in developing issues and crisis communications plans. He also consults with the firm’s clients on sensitive and pivotal matters. As a result, that work is grounded in deep, lasting relationships built across a wide range of industries, clients, and colleagues. In addition, he is a sought-after lecturer and author on a range of reputation-management topics.

Board & Professional Involvement

Chris serves on the boards of directors of WHYY, Inc., the Philadelphia region’s leading public media affiliate. He also serves on the board of the Philadelphia Public Relations Association. Beyond that, he serves as APR chair for the New Jersey Chapter of PRSA. In this role, he guides aspiring APRs through the UAB’s accreditation process.

Academic Contributions

Chris is an adjunct professor of Crisis Communications at his alma mater, Rowan University. There, he co-designed the university’s Crisis Communication Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) Program. In 2018, he was named the university’s “Distinguished Alumnus.”

Education

Chris earned his Master of Legal Studies in Law and Entrepreneurship from Drexel University.
